Wow, good old Haceldama and his rapidshare links of doom~~~! Happy to see your still around.

From what I gather by popping on this torrent, it had 1 to 2 seeds for most of the day, guess finally a good 200 or so got he full file... this is going to take a while for some of you.

I rather just have the CG since that how I found the first few games, since I have no idea when Peach Princess will get around to translating this and releasing it in the U.S.

Truth be told, I'm not quite in the know about Windows+ text hooking; I use primarily OS X and never touch Windows if I can avoid it >_>
Is there a guide somewhere that I could use? I'm pretty much stuck as to how to acquire altas/systran currently... :/ It seems pretty straightforward once I get started, but is there anything I should know beforehand?

I haven't seen a CG Pack yet, but i guess it will surface soon.
I'm still enjoying collecting TG H-Games, especially now with the slew of games being released or still to come.
Am just a bit sad so many have only minor tg content, but oh well.
It's a fun diversion to have all major TG themed H-Games collected in one spot.

If you use OAGT linked in my previous post, all you need additionally is the trial of atlas v14(you can use the official download from http://www.fujitsu.com/global/services/sof...tlas/trial.html and maybe the ini file.
ini file put into the "OAGT\Profiles" folder will let you select an entry for XCA2 inside OAGT's "open" dialog (best to be used while XCA2 is already running). you do not need applocale or anything else, the written text inside the game will be replaced by the autotranslation. Unfortunately the Autotranslation is quite bad, but i found it sufficient.

Is for a different hooking tool, which is more mature, but also more complicated.

I was disappointed to see the game starting out choice overladden until the swap occurs, at which point you get no choice save for some close to the end. It still seems to have quite a bit of content but i'll save my final judgment until i've seen more of it.

Hey I have a question, I downloaded the torrent but it comes in two .rar parts and for some reason I can't extract them using winRar. I do it for volume one then the message pops up saying I need to have part two.

"You need to have the following volume to continue extraction"

I think you system's having problem with recognizing japanese letters. Just try to rename both rars to "XCA2.part1.rar" and "XCA2.part2.rar" and extract again. It should work.

Btw, I'm looking for all h-scenes, where the main character in one of the girl's bodies has sex with one of his male friends while this male friend is fully aware of the fact that the girl he's fucking is a man in a girl's body.

i tried the demo earlier today. Darn my "enter" key is exhausted

im also downloading the complete game. just wish i did understand japanese.
But you said the guy wakes up as "mine" at the end of the demo... i didnt see anything of that?
maybe i pressed wrong the few times i had to press anything?
ill play it throug in japanese and pray to the guy across the street for an english version.
Not that he as anything to do with it. But he looks funny, so ill pray to him.

The demo has only one possible ending, and that's the "ohmygod i got swapped with mine!!!!" ending...

The main character goes to bed and wakes up in a laboratory with big machines and enough shattered glass to get luck for years... and then he's realizing that he's in Mines body.

Just to make sure it doesn't disappears on page 3... xD:

I hated the fact that it was only images of persons appearing infront of a background all the time

and that i had to press enter all the time...

Yeah. But out of the four, in my opinion Sayuri and Mine are the most interesting choices. As Makoto you're only masturbating and doing other crazy (yuri-)shit and Tomoyo is far to loli to like (being) her.

I understand exactly 0,01% of all japanese letters in h-games (the names of the characters...) but fortunately, the games are often voiced. Because I'm watching anime since a couple of years, i've got a little understanding of spoken japanese. It's not enough to fully understand everything, but since they are often using the same phrases, it's enough to understand what's going on.
Whenever one character is swapped in a foreign body, their names are displayed as "Current body (Real person which's controlling this body right now)". So it's very easy to get who's who, even if you can't understand japanese.

I played the demo before, and IMO the the ATLAS translation of the game wasn't that bad, you can at least outline the story.

Now if only Peach Princess would translate XCA2... hopefully hopefully

Since I don't understand the plot anyway (I'll try to use ATLAS and the tool Haceldama recommended today) I just used the 100% save file and checked all H-scenes (which's very easy in this game - you can display every chapter with a certain theme, for example h-scenes, and join the story in this chapter).
So I don't know if you're able to choose actively the body you'll end with or if this depends on how you interact with the girls in the first part of the game. But it seems that every swap is accidentially... :/
Fortunately, that doesn't seem to bother the main charas. Sayuri is my favourite character, too (I certainly don't like Makoto and Tomoyo and Mine's to "innocent"

). For example, Yuki in Sayuris body is going to the beach, wearing a bikini and playing volleyball. And afterwards, both (Yuki and Sayuri in each others bodies) want to understand a woman's / man's (sexual) feelings... very nice scene.

I also discovered some scenes where Yuki (in Mine's body) is making love to Hiroshi who knows that (s)he's in fact Yuki. But it seems as if this scene is narrated from Hiroshis point of view, so you probably won't read Yukis thoughts during sex as a women...

1 hour with 450 kb/s? That's... impossible. The game's 4 GB big. That means you'll need at least 3 hours with 450 kb/s.

Look on page 3 of this thread, in the bottom of Haceldamas RS-Link Post. There are some links to the capturing tool and an ini File designed to work with XCA2. Thanks @ Haceldama for this service

Basically it's a little program which intercepts the japanese lines, sends them to a Japanese -> English translator (you can choose between ATLAS, Systran, google and some others) either installed on your computer or free available in the internet and displays the translation in the game where normally the japanese text is.

I think this got discussed in the hongfire forum... if you're operating a 64 bit system, well... then you're doomed. XCA2 doesn't work with 64 bit. And if you're using AVGuard, disable it - or just try to disable your Antivirus-Software. There's no virus inside, so there's nothing to worry...

Looking at your screenshot, it looks like you didn't set your PC properly to Japanese regionals, so that might also cause problems.

there is no need to install the game, just copy the folder which contains the xca2.exe off the dvd.
then either keep the dvd mounted or use the nodvd crack, guess the game just checks for the dvd/dummy file.

just too bad the sayuri-route hasn't got that many choices, i sure wish it did, but i suppose the game was delayed for a reason. can't help but feel it is still not finished.

I randomly chose options until the TG scene and tried choosing a different option than I had chosen before the TG Scene. However, nothing happened...

The beginning was nowhere near as fun as Takuya's dream sequences. Pretty much everything before arriving at school on the first day could be left out.

Hmm, I was pretty dissappointed in the game. Maybe it's because I'm just looking for H content rather than a detailed story or something. (Although the story/characters wasnt mind-blowing either.)

It seems to me, out of all the X-Changes, #2 was the most "hardcore" and had the most amount of H and different variations / themes / combinations / endings.

Whereas in this one, you couldnt even fully explore the characters that were present! For example the glasses girl Makoto, despite having a very interesting twist, only had 2 or 3 H scenes, and they didnt really explore the twist nor the body swap.

To me there was too much daily story/conversations, and meaningless choices. (actually I level accusation this at Nikutai Teni as well.) I really wish for a H-Game where you have much more control over who swaps / transforms, what they do and with whom, and maybe even what changes occur.

Really, a game like XChange and Nikutai Teni is about body swaps / changes. Why do they even bother having "normal" unswapped hscenes? (even as an ending). Anyone who wants normal has a gajillion other games to choose from. If we're playing a TG game, it's all about the TG! >_<

Someone who can type japanese go and post some constructive feedback to Crowd, please

Question - does your game suddenly stop playing chara voices in the middle of the story??

It happens at the begining of Sayuri route - scene on the rooftop, just before "the experiment".
I tried save and reload, I've also applied patch but with no results. Should I try reinstall in full HD mode? (right now I have only basic install with dvd mounted). I don't know what could go wrong, on the other hand I can't imagine noone hadn't noticed it (or they did notice, but Crowd didn't make new patch to fix this)??

I've to concur, especially since past games at least tried to offer such freedom, nowadays there is just too much bloat.
And heck, i do not even want to read that much rubbish i could care less about. I've been made brutally aware of this fact after playing mangagamers edelweiss, a game so hung up on absolutely nothing it made me puke. characterization is one thing, but keeping it concise is another.
I just have to presume these games to be made for people with too much time and/or a lack of other interests.
Also quite annoying to see games filling fetishes in a subpar manner, it feels as if the publishers cross them off of a list

Kurahashi, sorry, haven't spent much time with this game, only noticed it crashing at times close to the end.

Phew..just when I was going to give up I tried the last thing I haven't yet - to reinstall the game, with full voice disk install this time. And bingo! The voices are playing correctly... strange, but true. That was very important for me because, well, unvoiced japanese games simply don't exist for me (I understand quite a lot from hearing, just contrary to what I understand from reading all the unknown kanjis...)
Meanwhile I'll refrain from discussing about the game itself as I'm still in the middle of playing (finished only Mine routes)

Finished xca2, overall i was surprised, a few more endings than I expected.
But I guess the possibilities were the downfall of it though, too much was possible and too little of it realized. There was a lot more to be desired in terms of endings.
I have to admit it still feels as if xc2 had more scenes and diversity than this one. but that is likely just nostalgia.
The different paths were interesting, but each on its own was too linear, being forced to make the deciding choices at the beginning also lessened the fun factor.
The engine is quite nice though, definitely a tremendous improvement over the horror that was xc3 and the remake versions. Feels very much like xc2.
I'm quite curious if there is actually enough interesting story in this one. Most of it felt like bloat. A massive amount of it. Can't really comment on it much though.

Am looking forward to the english uncensored version, if it is in the making. It'll answer many questions and prove to be a nightmare for the translators, in more ways than just one.

Ok, so I'm now after Mine and Sayuri routes... wanted to sum up the game after finishing it completely, but as I don't have to much free time lately so I try to do it now.
First of all, body swap TG is not my cup of tea. Or rather - not my favourite one... whatever.
Second - if previous all XChange games could be classified more or less as TG H-game visual novel, then this one is visual novel H-game with TG elements. Almost the same, yet the 'almost' makes the difference. Contrary to the previous Xchange games (where TG accident was the catalyst for potential love story), in XCA2 the TG accident is only part of love route with other character. And yes, I don't like it.
Finally - trying to do more realistic story, they crossed the line - when too realistic means too boring. I admit, there was some funny things, some funny jokes but mostly it was too repeatative and too long. On the other hand, if this game was supposed to be realistic there were few things completely unfitting for that... for example my SF mind can imagine and accept the teleport machine invention ('The fly' anyone?) but rescuing your girlfriend using rocket bike to launch into space? sorrrrry.... Another thing - Hiroshi out of the blue changing his gender, why (and how)? Ok, he was hoping to seduce Yuuki that way, but when this plan failed instantly then... why he stayed in that form? It almost looked like the producers thought in the middle - 'hey, the players won't stand full game of this open gayness, we have to do something about that, how about gender change? - yeah, and into futa, futa-lovers will approve' or something.

In summary, I'm disappointed. Even though I was not expecting too much, I was given even less than that. I don't know when (or if) I finish the rest of the routes (loli's one probably never, cause she irritates me a lot), but I don't suppose this would change my view of this game radically. My TG games ranking remains unchanged - still Yin-Yang XC Alternative 1 remains the best one, with XC2 (original one, not R) and Soprano trailing behind. XCA2 is somewhere far far away there.

Kurahashi nailed it, the wackiness and boredom realism coupled were a bad idea. I found the realistic cg scenes a nice change. Oh well who knows, they may go for a Xchange 4, Takuya as a MILF
